Box Tops for Education

Welcome to the Box Tops for Education Program! Laramie Montessori School does collect Box Tops for Education to help provide money for school and PTO expenses for programs such as the Scholastic Book Fair and the Painting with Parents. Please help fund our school! Every Box Top helps!

Below Laramie Montessori School provides information about different aspects of the Box Tops for Education Program. This includes everything from which products participate in BT4E to how to gain Bonus Box Tops when you are shopping. Thank you for helping our school!

Participating Products How the Box Tops for Education Program Works

Box Tops for Education is funded by a large group of companies that wish to give back to the communities that buy their products. Each box top is worth 10 cents and has an expiration date on it. Each Box Top must be submitted by a coordinator before the expiration date and only in groups of 50 Box Tops. The PTO and Laramie Montessori School submit the Box Tops that have been turned in and then the Box Tops for Education program submits a check for the amount of money collected to the school they were submitted for. This money can be used to buy school supplies, fund field trips, fund activities for our PTO, or anything that the school needs.

There are four ways to collect Box Tops:

Clip the physical box tops off of participating products’ packaging
Clip the Bonus Box Tops (usually worth 3 or more regular Box Tops) off participating products’ packaging
Use On-line Box Tops at participating stores
On-line Bonus Box Tops through online Sweepstakes and company deals

All four ways are covered in more detail below.

We encourage every parent to create a free account with Box Tops for Education online. This allows you to be aware of special deals, and eBoxTop programs, and receive newsletters about the new sweepstakes and fun collection sheets.

Participating Products

How to collect regular Box Tops

Participating products will have the Box Top logo on them. This logo looks like the image to the left but will have an expiration date. Box Tops for Education will not accept clipped box tops that are expired.

Below are Box Tops Collection sheets if you wish to use them. This is not required. Box Tops can be dropped off at the Laramie Montessori School office in any form. The collection sheets can be fun for students and if you let them cut out the box tops and glue them, then it can also be a good work at home to improve cutting and gluing skills.

Collection sheets are only for the Box Tops that match the image in this section. If you find Bonus Box Tops then they need to be collected separately and sent to school without being glued to a sheet. Please see below for more information on Bonus Box Tops.

Clipped Bonus Box Tops

Participating products will sometimes offer products with Bonus Box Tops. An example of these Box Tops is found below. Please do not glue Bonus Box Tops to the collection sheets. They need to be brought into the school separately.

Remember that any Box Top can be brought into the school without using collection sheets. Use collection sheets for regular Box Tops only if you wish to.

Online Box Tops at Participating Stores

Some stores in our community offer online Bonus Boxtops with the purchase of participating products.

Safeway

Safeway offers Bonus Box Tops through their Just For U coupon program. This requires that you create an account with the Just For U coupon center. This program is hooked to your Safeway card and offers personalized coupons based on what you buy as well as allows access to the Box Tops for Education promotions. Set up a free account and follow the directions to add your card, then browse the numerous Box Tops promotions and personalized deals!

Signing up for the eBoxTops for Safeway requires a free account with safeway.com and a free account with the Box Tops for Education website. Then you follow the directions and access the Just For U Box Tops section to find out what promotions are available, then load them onto your Safeway card for the convenience of shopping.

Safeway and its affiliate stores are all a part of the Just for U program and can participate in the eBoxTops program.

Walmart

Walmart provides a shopping list for items with 5 Bonus Box Tops but also provides an online way to get eBoxtops by shopping online. Signing up for the eBoxtops requires both a free Walmart.com account and a free Box Tops for Education account. The process for registering for eBoxTops allows you to set up an account with Walmart.com.

The eBoxTops from Walmart are only available when you shop online.

Online Sweepstakes and Company Deals

Online Sweepstakes

Most online sweepstakes for Box Tops will be found on the Box Tops for Education Website under Bonus Box Tops. These sweepstakes are not purchase-necessary and can generally be entered once a day by each Box Tops for Education account. These special offers can only be entered if you have a free Box Tops for Education website account.

Company Offers

The company's offers can be in many forms. Sometimes they are in the form of extra Bonus Box Tops that can only be redeemed at the company's web page, in which case they can either be clipped and sent to Laramie Montessori School or redeemed by you. Sometimes they are redeemable codes on receipts from participating retail stores. If you do receive a receipt or a code with a redeemable Box Top code then you can redeem it on the Box Tops for Education Bonus Box Tops page.

Laramie Montessori School Shirts

We have our new Laramie Montessori Shirts for the 2022-2023 school year from our shirt designer and producer, Sarah Torbert! This is a small fundraiser for our school, so all profits will be used to benefit our students through we keep prices low so that families can afford shirts. Please pay by check or cash to Laramie Montessori School at the office or pay by credit card or PayPal through the buttons below.
